It is always a joy to welcome back to Chipping Campden the world renowned and multi award winning Academy of Ancient Music, directed today by Bojan Čičić. The theme of today’s programme is the ‘reversal of fortunes’ of Bach and Telemann, with the latter now perhaps unfairly overshadowed by his more famous contemporary despite being much more highly acclaimed than Bach during their lifetimes.
