The full programme can be viewed by clicking on ‘programme for 2020’ in the above menu bar.You can also download a PDF of the brochure at this link here
NB. Please note that currently the only way to make a booking request is by postal application.
As always, all forms will be dated as they come in and filed in the appropriate folder (Patron, Gold Friend, Silver Friend, Season, General booking). As each booking period opens the forms will be processed in the order in which they were received. So whatever category your booking form is in, please send it to us ASAP
These applications will be processed in January, and online and telephone booking will not open until early February after all the postal priority & general booking requests have been dealt with.
You can download a booking form at this link herePriority Booking The number of people signing up for the priority booking schemes grows every year and, increasingly, it is the only sure way of obtaining reserved seating for the most popular concerts. To ensure that all members of these schemes benefit from joining we put a maximum on the number of tickets that can be purchased for the orchestral concerts, which this year will be on the 19th, 21st, 23rd. Full details can be found under the Patron & Friends heading on the ‘support the festival’ page of the site. As always, we will operate the traditional postal system for the Patrons’, Friends’ & Season priority booking periods, and for those who like to get their General booking form in early. As soon as all the postal bookings have been processed we will then activate, in early February, the online booking system.
The first Chipping Campden Music Festival was held in 2002, since when it has grown to be widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading festivals, with visitors coming from the Americas, Canada, Australia, & New Zealand, as well as from all over the UK, and mainland Europe. The glorious venue of St James’ church has become a favourite with many of the world’s greatest musicians who all look forward to returning to this most beautiful of all the Cotswold towns.
The Local Area
As well as our prestigious Music Festival & sister organisation the Chipping Campden Literature Festival, the area offers a wealth of other cultural treasures; the RSC is just down the road, and the wonderful gardens of Hidcote and Kiftsgate are nearby. It really is the perfect setting for a long weekend or a fortnight’s holiday in the Cotswolds. Chipping Campden is also one of the most important homes of the Arts and Crafts movement. Fine accommodation at all prices is available, from luxury hotels, lovely B&Bs, traditional Cotswold pubs, and a large selection of self-catering cottages.
