For nearly a quarter of a century the Jerusalem Quartet has been a regular guest on the world’s most prestigious concert stages. Their stellar reputation has been forged by sell out performances in cities such as New York, Chicago, Washington, Zürich, Munich, Paris, London, and the festivals at Schwarzenberg, Verbier, Salzburg, and Saint Petersburg. We are delighted that they are flying in specially to make their first appearance in Chipping Campden. Renowned for their warm, full sound and precise balance of voices, The New York Times recently described the ensemble as “a single instrument with 16 strings.”
“This is a warm, romantic style of playing that the Amadeus Quartet or its predecessors such as the Busch Quartet would have known and loved.” Jessica Duchen
